Iam searching for an 'Ann Prince' ( birth name) born to a Joan Prince nee Hyem on 7th March 1945 in Heath House/Heath Hospital Tendring~ (Later adopted). At the time my Aunt~ Joan was living at 'Gilljean' Thorpe Road Kirby. Does anyone remember this house? in Kirby or remembers Joan living there~ i would appreciate any information you may have to assist me in my search. Thankyou Lisa

Hello from Queensland~ Australia.**My great grandmother was JANE GREEN youngest child of 4 to Robert Green and Sarah Watkins (who was from Wales.) **Robert Green was an "Ag Lab" and a Widower when he married Sarah at St Brides~ London in 1844. On their marriage cert he gave his father's name as Robert Green~ a Miller. I don't have any more on them~ but Robert jr's first wife was probably an Elizabeth Langlands~ as an Elizabeth Green died in Weeley in Dec 1841. Making it more difficult is the fact that Elizabeth was herself a widow when she married Robert in 1819 - as per some paid research by the Essex Records Office.**Would any one have knowledge of this little family? I'd dearly love to locate something else before my father passes on - he is now 90! Kind regards~ Julie.

Hello. Would anyone know of Robert Green born to Robert Green~ a Miller. I believe Robert jr was born in c1801 in Ardleigh as he gave on the 1851 census. Robert Green jr is my great great grandfather. His youngest child was my father's grandmother: Jane Rebekah Green. Robert's 4 children with wife no 2~ Sarah Watkins from Wales~ were all born in Heath Weeley and later went to St Osyth to live before they all seem to have travelled far and wide.**Regards~ Julie

My great uncle was Albert James AINGER~ a former coastguard~ who died in Wix in 1923. I believe he was married to Mary and lived in Council Cottages~ Wix. I have researched the family history for 20yrs and recently traced Albert to Wix. I am desperate to hear from any descendant. Between 1955 & 1960 I spent many happy holidays in I believe "Threeways Cottage" owned by Fred and Marguerite White. It was a lovely old thatched cottage with out buildings facing a green and only a couple of farms and farm cottages nearby. I believe it was near Wix and some miles walk into Manningtree. Does anyone recall this place?
