Hello~ my ancesters lived at Pistyll~ whitford and farmed 18 acres of land~ this was between 1861& 1891.can anyone tell me if Pistyll was the name of a farm or a hamlet~ and if Whitford was the village or the Parish.thank yoWilfred

I am asking for help to fill in gaps in my family history please. Is there anyone who can provide some history regarding "The Pines"~ Pantasaph. Family folk law tells me that members of my family were resident there?**I believe that the house keeper was still living in the area until recently?**Any help would be appreciated.**Thanks

My family lived at Twll Farm~ Lloc from the 1600's until 1966. I visited several times as a girl & my Aunt Gertrude looked after her Aunt Frances & Uncle Harry until they died in 1966. She is now 91 & still independent! We would love to hear from anyone who remembers the family

searching for constance humphreys born about 1918/25 daughter of thomas humphreys and mabel nee evans. mabel lived and possibley taught at school house brynford and married at st.michaels church on11/8/1915. her father was david evans~ once headmaster at llangollen.**it is known that thomas & mabel had a daughter constance but i've searched many a year for birth or marriage but with no luck.anyone out there possibley help.

• thank you Colin for sending the info,but sorry to say it's not the right one..that particular birth the mothers maiden name was Morris i'm looking for the maiden name of Evans. I seem to have hit a brick wall in my search for this person,i'm beginning to think she must have been adopted therefore would have been registered in a different name.

Hi.I am researching family tree. My great grandfather was Frederick Robert Lloyd. I think he was born in Cilcain. Parents were John Lloyd and Sarah (?) In 1881 census they lived at Tyn y Caeau farm~Cilcain. In 1891 census they lived at Llanerch~Hendrebiffa. In 1901 John Lloyd~wife Sarah and daughter Margaret Mabel lived in Pantybuarth~Gwernaffield~ but Frederick had left home by then. In 1902 Frederick married Amelia Johnson Tonge.In 1905 my grandfather George Lloyd was born in Lancashire.However by 1909 George was put into Styal Cottage homes and until his death he never knew his family.It would mean a great deal to our family to finally put the jigsaw together. Does anyone know of the family please? If so~ do you know what Sarah's maiden name was?**Thank you for taking the time to read this..it is appreciated!
