father carl cooper and a band of determind members and friends of the church raisd enough money to rebiuld the church~ has any one any information or photos of the fund raising~ ~ as 1 of the friends of the church that was there i hope some of the older members may still have some things relating to the events..

I am still trying to contact anyone who went to Caerwedros School~Ceredegion. I have signed the local web page 5 times now and so far no one has been near the web page. I and my brother John were evacuees 1940 to 1946 John at Velin-Pont-Bren{Now in St Fagins] and I was at Pendre~Llwyndafyd with Mr & Mrs John and Margaret James. Pog hwyl i pawb. Douglas. Ps We came from Liverpool.

My message is simple. Where are all my school friends from Caerwedross???. I have signed the guest book now 5 times. Am I the only living member left.??. I would just like to say hello to all my friends from Caerwedros School from the 1940 to 1946 era. Understanding of course the number of years that have gone by. My heart is still in Llwyndafydd whilst my physical body is here in Perth Western Australia. Hwyl a pob bendith i pawb. Douglas.

I am delighted to be able to say hello to all pupils both present and past. My brother John and I were pupils there for approx 6 years from 1940 to 1946 Headmaster Mr Williams~ Music teacher Miss Jones. John lived at velin-Pont_bren~[now in St Fagins Museum.] I lived with John and Margaret James for approx 6 very happy years at Pendre~Llwyndafydd~before leaving Heaven and returning to Liverpool. I now live in Perth~Western Australia. Hwyl am nawr. Douglas.

I lived at Pendre~Llwyndafyd.gyda Mr & Mrs Margaret & John James. Went to Stysilio Church. Vicar Mt t Childs. Love to all and I am thrilled to be able to make this connection. Hwyl am nawr. Went to school at Caerwedros 1942 until 1946. Had a very wonderful education there . plenty of good friends. Headmaster Mr Williams. and remember miss Jones Music teacher Stayed at Pendre Llwyndafydd~ with Mr&Mrs John James. Wonderful people . Baptised and confirmed by the Bishop Of St Davids at St Tyssilio. Llandyssilio. Hwyl am naw . Diolch yn fawr. Douglas ex Pendre.
