John McIlwraith (My great~ great grandfather) b.1833 Dailly married Margaret Jones 1854 d. 1887 Hutchesontown Lanark aged 55****Father William McIlwraith d.1865 Dailly aged 64 married 1833 Dailly to Jane/Agnes McCutcheon****Williams father also William McIlwraith married to Mary Fergus ****Can anyone fill in the blanks please I've hit a brick wall with

Querie: 1870s or earlier relatives (Barr Parish Church records?)**Does anyone know of `David Little' from Barr. He married `Catherine Rankin' and had three children `John Little~ Agness Renfrew Little (1894-1992)and Anne Little (died aged 10yrs. Catherine died and David remarried `Agness Pollock'(no children).**My grandmother (Agness Renfew Little) was the daughter of a David Little~ and I know she successfully serched for relatives at the Church grave yard in the 1970's. She relayed a story of a step grandmother (Flemish) who was famous for making cheese being presented to Queen Victoria (however she broke her leg practicing to walk backwards in her new dress and never made the appointment. (bad luck). Any info would be good. Thanks.

I am looking for information on my ancestors by the name of Jamieson - and **McCulloch**My grandfather Thomas Jamieson born 1847 - married Margaret Harris (Harrison) **in 1866 and had 9 children from 1869-1887 in the Barbour~ Glenhead~ Barhill **Drumskeasch~ Barr areas - not sure if they are all the same place or different **districts.**Would also like to find that out - **My great grandmother is buried in the cemetary in Bar hill I believe - but not **sure - **Is there anyway to find ou the farm name?****Thanks for any help you can give me - I will be coming to Scotland this year **from Christmas and would love to come see my great-grandmothers grave if I can **find where she is buried**thanks so much - Lorna Snazell**Lorna Snazell

My two brothers Jim & Jack Mackenzie both went to the Dailly School~ way back in the years 1925 - 29. My parents Alex & Bessie Mackenzie (McCreadie) Jim & Jack & and my sister Jean came to Canada in 1929. When they left Dailly they lived in "The Toll House". Jack & Jean both born at Low Stables.There are still relatives in Dailly~ the McCreadies (Mary & Shona) & Jim & Jean McBride**Visted Dailly in 1994 & so pleased to see the school still there.
