Hello I am looking for any descendants of my g2gfather THOMAS REEVES. He married CHARLOTTE OVERINGTON in Kirdford 18 Oct 1820. They has three sons Thomas b 1826~ James b 1828 and Henry b 1834. Thomas emigrated (as a free settler) to Australia and married Ann Harper b 1825 in Pattersons Plains NSW~ 26 May 1859 Mullenderee NSW. James Reeves married Charlotte Overington in Kirdford on the18 Oct 1820 and Henry Reeves married Elizabeth Berry.**Thomas died abt 1900 in Sydney NSW. Their daughter Ellen Martha Reeves was my g1gmother and any information will be gratefully received.**

I am looking for the history of the Stenning Family who lived in Kirdford in 1901 in Pound Common~ and in 1911 in what is transcribed as Axesmiths ? or Ascesmiths.**Ther son Shadrack died in WW1 in Isreal and was married to an Irish lady Ellen.**There youngest son was my Grandad.******Peter

I am researching the family of George William Steel~ my Uncle~ and his descendants and I have discovered that Anthony Golding Steel was a resident of Barkfold Farmhouse~ Kirdford. I would welcome any information on him and his family to help with my research.

I'm trying to collate information on Plaistow especially during the period 1965 -1975. Please post your stories~ description of village characters~ pub life~ the shops~ the churches etc.## I'd like to record it before it gets forgotten.## Thankyou## Geoff Frith## I used to live in the house by the swings~ then at Plaistow Stores before leaving for Australia in 1975.
