I was wondering if anyone else was researching the Pooten and Poston families from Little Hereford and Middleton on the Hill.
Joseph Pooten married Winifred Poston in 1733 at Kimbolton. Joseph was from Little Hereford and Winifred from Middleton.
Joseph was the son of James Pooten and Margaret Jones. Both died at Little Hereford. Winifred was baptised April 1712 father Gulielmi (William) and mother Winifred.

My name is David Potts and my family originate ( on the Potts side ) from Ashford Carbonell and Little Herford -John Potts born1780 in Ashford Carbonell married to Elizabeth, their son, James Potts born in 1803, his osn also James born in Wyson 1846. Trying to find out more about the Robothams. So far i go back Thomas Edwin (b 1851~ Ashford carbonel)~ James Robotham (b 1827~ Ludlow)~ Thomas (11th sept 1796~ Brimfield) married Mary Phillips. Thomas's father was also Thomas and his mother was Martha Maund. Any help greatly recieved.

  I have dug out the information I have on sarah, it seems that they are the same. The only other detail I have is that her mothers name was Elizabeth (1851 Census), but I can not find anything about her father. I have been to Brimfield and visited the church there but could not find any graves.

Iam looking for information about Helen Mary Biggs who was born in Ludlow**on 16/11/1910' My mother was born on 29/12/1927 and Helen gave her address as.. I am interested in a listed house - the only information I have is a photo - the plot of land is called The Coggin [maybe a different spelling] and it is No.3. It is a white timbered house with a stacked chimney made in four sections. It was originally occupied by the Berry Family and dates from the 17th Century.

I am trying to trace Richard Powis who married Ann Constable. Richard and Ann lived in Brimfield and had 7 children Elizabeth baptised 1738 (my ancestor)~ Sarah~ Ann~ another Ann William Mary and Susannah baptised 1758. If there is anyone else researching this family~ I would love to hear from them.
