I am a descendent of a John and Eliza Smith of Haslington and their son John Smith b. about 1837~ who migrated to Australia with his mate Thomas Pate on the "Gilmore" in 1855 with the Assisted Immigration Scheme. I am looking for relatives of Rob Thompson who lived in Barton~ Cambs during the 1930's. He was a young man in the building trade~ believed to have parents who owned a building firm nearby. He was born around 1907 and I am trying to trace anything about him or his family. Maybe someone can recall anyone of the Thompsons living in Barton even if it was long ago. I would love to know something as this man was related to me. It may be that I have some distant relations somewhere.

I'm searching for family connections having just discovered that William and Thomas Titchmarsh were baptized in 1694 and 1696 respectively. Their father William was a Yeoman from Barrington. Members of the family were later found in Great Eversden~ Arrington ad Melbourn. Any information would be very useful.**Thank you

Most of my ancestors dating from 1585 to 1761 are recorded at Harston or Bottisham starting from early 1800.. If you have any information please let me know. I won't list all the names~ but the main ones are Thomas~Robert~Stephen~Henry & George.**I assume that as the place name Hatley is close by they originated from their prior 1500. Any information would be much appreciated. **Regards Alex
