I am trying to trace a former army friend Malcolm Smith whowas married to Doreen I last heard from him in 1970 when his address was 31 anfield court~ Macmerry he was employed as a welder for a precision engineering firm .I know its a long time but I have only just found an address for him again.**Many thanks

I am interested in the name conque or conquer from the East Lothian area. My great Grandmother was Euphemia Conquer who married a John Alexander Wilson who was born in Inveresk. They were married in Lasswade in 1885 and Euphemia died three years later after the birth of her daughter Euphemia.

Looking for Mary MacDonald daughter of John & Mary MacDonald (nee Vass) who lived at Zetland Place Lochgelly**on their death certificates Mary Ryan was listed as daughter and W Ryan son-in-law Easterlea Pencaitland. I would love to make contact with Mary as she is my only relative. My father and her father were separated when my father was brought to New Zealand in 1926 after their father died. Wight family descendants of Ormiston residing in the United States~ UK~ South **Africa and Canada entered into a restoration project October 7~ 2004 on the Big **Island of Hawaii. The project will restore and continually maintain a **160-year-old graveyard on the originally owned 22~000-acre estate of doctor **James Wight.**Upon his arrival to the islands in 1850~ Dr. Wight and his wife Jane had 13 **siblings. He is also know for introducing several of the first species of **plants and trees to Hawaii including the first Orchids from England. As a **doctor~ judge~ land entrepreneur~ and horticulturist~ the good doctor was well **known in Hawaii for his talents. Currently~ the state of Hawaii owns the **homestead land (22 acres) but has granted the family a curator agreement to **restore the ravaged graveyard so deeply in need of restoration. One of the **amazing focal points of the graveyard is the 150 foot tall Kapok tree which **houses one of the 5 foot tall grave stones inside it?s trunk. It is truly a **sight to see.**These dedicated family descendants have pooled funding and will be protecting **the history of one of the Islands important founding fathers who?s origins come **from Ormiston.
