Hi~ I was born and brought up in fallin~ 33 Bruce Drive. We moved from the area in 1983. would like to hear from anyone who remembers myself or my sisters. I have fond memorys of school~ especially the old fallen tree in the playground~ it was the focus of many games. Also the farm road walk to Throsk. Our family name was McCutcheon.

My Grandmother~ Agnes Fotheringham McKay~ nee Agnes Fotheringham Miller told family members that she was born in Stirling about 1880-1882 and was sent at the age of 10 to the Bay of Islands~ New Zealand. She married George Hugh McKay~ Master Mariner~ Oct 31~1902. We think Grandma may have been born a Fotheringham. Any info regarding Grandma's origins would be appreciated.

I amtrying to find out the surname of the family who lived at 8 Pargate~ Alva in the 1960's. They had a son called Alan who emigrated to Canada around the 1980's. I know it's a long shot and I will be amazed if get the answer.

My Grandmother Charlotte Hall was born in Alva 14 Nov 1888 at 36 James St Alva. Would some kind person be able to send photo's of this house as my family lived there for almost 100 years the last occupent being my great aunt Christine Allan and her husband James. I visited many times up until the late 1950's before coming to Australia~ it would be so much appreciated.**Also looking for decendents of Thomas Hall born Sauchie 1861 1901 census shows him in Alva.Also the Sneddon family Robina born 1831 Sauchie. Dryburgh family married Isabella Cramb Hall. Heaps more but this will do for the time being.
