My grandmother~ and her family~ all came from Oxton/Prenton/Woodchurch/Frankby/Greasby~Thingwall/Landican~area in Cheshire~ now in Merseyside.****I never met any of my relations~ but have been doing our family tree~ would love to hear from any relation.****My great grandfather was John Williams~ born in Oxton c 1856~ he was married to Alice Ann Edwards~ born Liverpool c1860. They had nine children~ William James~ John Arthur~ Catherine Eleanor (my grandmother)~ her twin sister Alice~ Emma~ Elizabeth~ Charles~ Frank~ and one who I have not yet been able to find. **They did for some time live at 16 Holm Lane~ Oxton~ but I beleive this house has since been demolished.****Thanks for reading this. I went to Poulton Primary School way back in 1967-1969. all my happy memories of school life are from here. I remember always my best friend Diane..also cool Tina~ handsome Alistair~ friendly~kind Adriane..wondering~after 40 years~ where are we all? what have we done with our lives in the great outside world? Wow! 40 years~ and it seems like yesterday. Happy memories of ' reading time' with our class teacher Mr Brown. I am a 50 year old ex pat living in Australia~ trying to rediscover my **childhood. I am searching for photographs of Moreton in the late 50's early **60's. **I went to Barnston Lane primary school from 1958 to 1964 so even any old school **photos would be interesting.
