My great great grandfather settled in Milford Haven but I understood from family tales that his family once lived in a manor house in Hook. His name was William Powell perhaps born about 1787 in hook. Can anyone help me. he was probably a younger son of a large family.

Hi~ is there anyone out there researching Benjamin Davies born 1822 at Robeston West~ his parents were a John and Margaret Davies and he married an Elizabeth Sutton in 1842 reg. Walton West. I believe that John Davies had 5 children~ William born 1815~ John born 1816~ Richard born 1818 Charles born 1822 and of course Benjamin. regards Joan D'Arcy

Hi I am currently researching my father's family and b ecause his name was Davies I appear to be looking for a needle in a haystack! I do know however that my gt.gt grandparents Benjamin and Elizabeth Davies (nee Sutton)lived in Robeston West in in 1850's and that Benjamin died there in or about 1859 and that Elizabeth died in or ab out 1884. Their children were John~ William~ Benjamin~ Margaret~ Elizabeth~ James and George. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. regards Joan D'Arcy

My grandfather~ William Whitton John~ was born in Walwyns Castle in 1886. I wonder whether there is still anyone in the town who is related to the family or remembers him. He died in Cardiff around 1943. He married Emily Thomas of St Issells~ near Narberth. I never knew them as my mother left home when I was a baby but would love to know something about them both.
