I am trying to find information about a Mr. Brook Batty. I believe he moved from Greenfiel to Morley West Yorkshire in the late 1800s. He died in Morley in 1927. I am looking for any imformation about a Orphanage in royton~ all i have to on is this adress. Greenbank Nursery~ Fir bank road Royton~ Lancs. i was here from birth till i was 6year's old and then taken to live in workington in cumbria~ i would like to know if this place is still there so i can do something for the children and try and find anyone who was there with me. I was there from 1963 till 1969 and called peter taylor~ any imfo please.
