I am desperately looking for descendants of Arthur & Susannah Price who lived in the early 1900's at 27 Underwood Rd.~ Haslemere~ it could even be in Hambledon/Witley area. They had children William~ Robert~ Eileen and Stanley. They were an Army Family that originated from Isle of Wight. In 1911 Stanley was still at home the older boys were away in the Army and Eileen was working in Midhurst. My great Aunt Gertrude Richmond nee Hall was a Petty Officer in the WRNS~ I have a pewter tankard in my possession given to her from the people of Churt in recognition of the work she did there during the second world war years. What work did she do? Does anyone have a record of the work she did?

Good memories of Borden when I was posted there with REME in 1960. 4th batt. and then 6th batt.**Life is a curious journey. Although I went into National Service fighting and clawing to stay out~ it was that which eventually gave me the experience to apply for a position with an American company. I am now retired in Glendale~ Arizona and live by a lake and also have a log cabin in the mountains.
