My G3/parents~ Maria Barben &James Thomson married at Ainsworth~ Cockey church~ (banns) Jan20th~ 1840.(I have cert copy.) Her father was Thos Barben~ (a book-keeper)His wife was Susannah. They had 3 more daughters~ all christened at St Peters~ Bolton-Le -Moor~ Susan Hannah~ 1827~ Eliz Emma~ 1831~ & Mary~1834. I am anxious to find ANY connection of MARIA with the family as~ since her birth in London~in 1820~ she is not mentioned in any of their family history~ until her wedding day. Thos~ his wife & three other daughters emmigrated to NZ in 1840. I have Maria's full susequent history~as well as her father's. I would love to see Bolton family Barben history~ possibly in 1826-1840

Hi There I am doing the family tree for the Gregson family. they came from Clayton le moors/Bolton/oswatwistle/Blackburn/Burnley area of lancashire~ my G Grandad was Richard Gregson~ who went to live at 22 Canal St Clayton le moors~ then he Moved away to Lord Street Oswaltwistle~ then his parents moved to 133 Chapel Street~ there were other Gregsons at 2 Chapel Street.

Looking for Mosscrop family information. My great grandfather~ Thomas Mosscrop (born 1812) lived on Elliot Street~ Leigh~ Tyldesley with Shakerly~ with his wife Elizabeth as per the 1841 census. They came to the United States the following year with their three sons William~ Thomas and John.

I am looking for decendants of William~ Frank~ Arthur~ John~ Laura~ Evelyn~ Margaret or Eric Brown. They were all born in Swinton Lancashire between 1893 & 1909 to William James and Annie Brown. Laura & Evelyn died some time in the mid to late 1970's~ John migrated to Australia (Townsville I think). I know Laura Brown never married & may have adopted a child around 1950. Seeking Cousins - brothers Derek Peter & Christopher John Wood or Woods last of Menai (mid 80's). Their mother's maiden name was 'Hilton' (her family lived near Prestwich) The family ran a pub somewhere in the Oldham or Bury boroughs (now Greater Manchester) when I last saw them approximately 1974 or 1975 with our grandfather. The brothers are now in their mid 40's. First cousin Janeth desperately wishes to establish contact for her own purposes and not on behalf of any other family members. Any clues welcome. I have been trying for years to find them. An old telephone number in Menai Bridge is no longer active. I still have a lovely picture of Derek in his school uniform aged approximately 14 years old which I have kept all those years.
