Domin Castle/Tomen Castle## I am requesting any information at all about the history of what used to be Domin Castle~ but is possibly now known as Tomen Castle. My ancestors~ by the name of Davies~ lived there from at least 1841 to 1901. Census records back then show it as being Domin Castle.## I believe it is now no more than a large mound~ but would dearly love to know any history about it. Absolutely anything regarding it's origins~ photos~ sketches of what is used to look like~ anything would be most appreciated.## If you know anything about this castle~ or know of anyone who does~ could you please get in contact with me. Even a small bit of info would be great~ then perhaps I could investigate further.## Kind regards~## Suzanne from New Zealand.

Requiring help on information about " 1 Hut Monaughty" as shown in the 1901 **census. According to the census my great grandfather is head of this **household~ his wife (Margaret A Davies age) and sons Alfred R T Davies~ William **T Davies(my grandfather) and daughter Maggie A E Davies are also at this **address. Also~ there are 4 lodgers at this address~ all of various **professions. I am assuming that the address is part of a works site. If so~ **what work was being carried out. One of the lodgers~ Richard Price~ has his **profession stated as 'Miner On Water Works'. And~ doesn't it seem strange that **Edward and his family were living there with 4 lodgers. How big was this hut?? **Or did his family just happen to be visitng him on the day of the census?**(In the 1891 census the family were living in Quarry House~ LlanddewyYstradenny**If anyone can shed any light on the above I would be eternally grateful.**Thank you very much~**Neil David
