For the Month of May Barlborough Heritage Centre is holding a Family History Event. We are inviting the public with any family trees with a connection to Barlborough to come along and share it and add it to those trees we already hold.The centre will make available its huge archive of materials for further research including , photographs, wills, census, monumental inscriptions. newspaper cuttings etc. Full disabled access, Free Parking.Self service cafe on site. Comfy seating areas where you can sit and browse.

I am tracing my mothers family who lived at Barbers Row Barlborough . My Grandfathers name was Charles Thomas Adams and My Grandmothers Name was Alice Pettinger . They had Five children ~ Benjamin ( B ) 1896 Lillian ( B ) 1898 George ( B ) 1901 Elizabeth ( B ) 1910 John ( B ) 1913 .I know what happened to Lillian And Elizabeth but do not know what happened to Benjamin ~ George and John so if anyone has any information I would be very grateful .
