Trying to trace descendents of a Marion/Marian Webb who stated that she was from Waterlip area and her family were butchers/farmers.
she was born around 1874 +/- a year and 'ran away' with a Charles Edward Crawforth (born 1863) whom she met in London.
Although they don't appear to have married they had several children and finally settled in Hull Yorkshire where she died in 1911 aged 38.
If you think we may be connected or have any further details I have lots of photos and details I am willing to swap.

I am researching my Family History. My g-great grandfather was Samuel Kingston~ b.1818~ base-born son of Anna Kingston~ b.1802. In 1881~ samuel was Farm Bailiff at Cranmore Hall. I am interested in any history of the Paget Family~ who I believe lived at the Hall at that time. Also would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about the Kingston Family when in the village~ or nearby West Cranmore.

• Hi not sure wether we have a common connection here but, my great grandmother Marion Webb born circa 1873/5 had stated she was from Waterlip. she ran off with a Charles Edward Crawforth after meeting in London. although they never married they had several children and settled in Hull.Family rumour has it that she came from a wealthy farming/buthchers family from Somerset.
  Can't find anything on census records but have lots of other details.

My ancestor Charles Carter was born in Stratton on the Fosse in 1842 and later moved to the midlands. His father was Isaac Carter born 1819 and his father was George born circa 1791. Any more Carter's still living in Stratton on the Fosse ?
