My ancestors came from Horton. Elias Shipway was a blacksmith and farrier in the village and was born about 1790. Has anyone got information where the smithy was or where I can locate the data? Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you

I am trying to trace back my family. My grt grt grandmother was Mary Strange **born Studley in Wiltshire~ in approx 1835. I think I have traced her to **Nettleton Wilts and also Calne at the age of 17. She has brothers Joseph~ **Richard and Samuel~ Parents were William and Elizabeth. This information is **obtained from the 1851 census. Mary worked for Mr & Mrs Goodship in 1851 as a **servant~ the Goodships were woodmen and beer sellers.
