Does anyone have any knowledge of my Great Grandad Alfred Goulding~born in Burtonwood 1861.On the 1901 census he was a widower living on Warrington Rd Wigan with four children.

My family name is Goulding and on the Wigan 1901 Census my GGrandad is named as Alfred Goulding born 1861 in Burtonwood.He was a widower with children Alfred~Henry~Clara and Jack.Does anyone have any information that could help me to find out more.

• My grandmother was called Clara Goulding. I have been told that she was from Wigan, and moved to Preston where she had a daughter who was adopted; and then married a Joe Castle. I'm not sure if this is the daughter of Alfred.

Louisa Catherine Calderbank married Thomas Jones in 1886 in Liverpool.**After having a son~ Edward John born in 1889~ the family moved to Newton Le Willows where they had at least three more children~ Louisa~ bn 1892~ John~ bn 1895~ and William bn 1898. **The family with their children listed above are on the 1901 Census for this town.**Does anyone have a relationship to these family members or know any thing about them. I used to go to sankey high~ but i left in the forth year 1984 and moved to Padgate High~as my parents divorced. I have a older brother~Paul~younger brothers Richard and Stephen. I went to school from 1st year infants to 1984 with a Sharon Brown who also her older sister Marie and younger sister Trudy. I would love to hear from her or anyone else who would have been at school with me.
