Im hoping someone on here can help me find lost family, im looking for Arthur and Eileen Brown who lived at strathmore view harehills leeds. They had 4 children Called Patricia,Arthur Eileen and Richard (Ricky) If anyone knows of the family i would love to hear back from you. The family lived there for years,I do not know where they moved to.

Hi ~ Wondering if someone could help with some info on my Great Great Grandparents Sarah & James TAYLOR~ lived at 12 Victoria Street~ Hunslet. ( Leeds) He was a Joiner by trade. **Have no idea what Sarah maiden name was ?**They had four children~ Susannah~ Richard James~ William~ Walter thomas.**Richard James Taylor was my Great grandfather. He married Marian Williams 15-5-1875 at Leeds Reg office ( have copy of certificate) **They came to Australia in 1878.on board Duntroon at the age of 24years **In November 1876 arrival

Hi I had to wait till the 1911 census before I tackled my great grandfathers side as I knew nothing about him all I had was a letter he wrote in 1924 which I found when my grandmother died..His name was Frederick William Hodgson born in Manchester1876 his parents were**Frederick Wm Hodgson from leeds born 1851(he used William on his Marraige Cert) his father was Jonas Hodgson born 1819 a basket maker from leeds. Jonass father was called John Hodgson born 1795 a basket maker from Leeds. Jonas married Ann Matthews 1842 in Leeds**Frederick married Frances Annis Robinson 1872 in Leeds.They had 3 children. Frederick Wm (my great grandfather) left the country to go abroad in 1924 to seek his luck with his cousin Harry where I dont know! he left his child (my grandmother) and common law wife in Coventry His sister Ethel was born in Leeds in1879 and the 3rd no idea...Are these people part of your family? then please get in contact Thanking you

I am searching for any information about the death of Thomas Watson~ born about 1811~ and married to Elizabeth Roberts in Otley. He is supposed to have died in 1879~ again supposedly~ by hanging himself off a London bridge. Ayone have any info please.

I am looking for an obituary and death certificate reference for Thomas Watson (b.1811 Hunslet~ Leeds) and who died (according to oral family history) by suicide (again according to word of mouth by hanging himself from London Bridge) in 1879. The London Bridge part might be a mistake perhaps for Leeds Bridge?**Thomas was married to Elizabeth (nee Roberts) in Otley in 1834. On the 1871 census she is shown as widowed.

I had a great childhood in carlton loved the Unicorn dad was the best landlord ever and i think will remain that way.Loved the easter walk loved christmas and all that went off in the unicorn.Loved my horse legend and he loved a pint too.Mr Mrs ward the best wilf with his upside down pipe.Barry losing his heel in the bed race loose heel kenny rogers.Mrs wood she was a nice lady~all the people who made my childhood something i will always look back on with love thank you~home carlton will always be for me and i take my children back at times and tell them the tales and me the lass i was never dull theres always lots to tell!

Hello..Looking for descendants of my gg grandparents~ Daniel and Sarah E.O'Connor and their son~ James Daniel O'Connor. In 1871~ Daniel had disappeared so Sarah and her family lived in Leeds at 25 Stone Row. In 1901~ James was living with his mother-in-law~ Louisa Williams at 18 Alfreds Cross Street. His sons were Claude (my grandfather)~ Robert~ James and a daughter~ Ethelina whose son's name was Joseph O'Connor~ born around 1899.
