I am currently trying to find information on my husband's father's side of the family. My husband's father's name was Hugh Campbell Stevenson (Also known as Steve - DOB 03/02/1922) and his parents were Walter Hugh Stevenson and Lily Stevenson (nee Stimson). I know Hugh had a sister and I think her name was Greta M Steveson (possibly known as Netta - DOB 1920). I know Walter was a farmer from Elm and both Hugh and Greta were born in Elm too. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who may have known them or have any information about them. ****Many thanks**Rhona Stevenson

My great-grandfather~ William Mott Watts was born here on Aug. 1~ 1813. He married Jemima Trott who was also born in England Feb. 4~ 1818. They moved to America. Not sure where they married. They lived in Nebraska and Iowa.

my family name was Taylor~ William and Louisa. They lived in Bank House~ Nordelph~ in 1911 census~ where i believe William was a stationary engine driver and i think Louisa was a nurse~ and also played the organ in the chapel.They were originally from Wisbech. They had children~ Grace~ Jessie~ Herbert~ William and Nellie (Palmer)~ My gran~ Grace~ worked on the land and she married Harry Miles. My mother Jessie~ was born there in 1932. I would like to hear from anyone who has details of the other family members. thanks

Ancestors by the name of Foyster and Squire lived and married here. Charles Foyster and Mary Ann Squire emigrated to Australia in 1852. Brothers Robert~ Thomas and Henry also emigrated to Victoria. Is there anyone related?

Hi I am looking for any miles' around Wisbech. My sister and I have just come back from Wisbech where we found the baptism of our great~great grandad John Taylor Miles. His father was Joseph miles who was a butcher~ we also have some information to suggest he was a farmer. Joseph was born in Newton and was married to Susannah~ sadly she died at the age of 26. On her death certificate the person in attendance was Ann Taylor who we think may have been her mother. If anyone knows anything no matter how trivial we would really appreciate it. Thanks Lyn
