I am seeking information about my gt.grandfather John Smith who was b. in Wethersfield c1819. On his marriage certificate to Hephzibah Stock in 1840 his father was given as Jabez Smith.**Also Joseph Poulter b. c.1809 and his parents. He married first Harriet Harrington and then Hannah Lawrence. Joseph and Harriet's daughter Ellen married John Smith's son~ also John**Any help regarding the parents of John and Joseph would be appreciated after 3yrs of searching in vain!!

I AM TRYING TO TRACE MY FAMILY. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER CAME FROM BOCKING THEY HAD 9 CHILDREN ALL WERE BORN IN BOCKING. THEIR NAMES WERE EMILY AND JAMES CLIFT.THE ONLY INFORMATION I HAVE ABOUT THEM IS THAT THEY LIVED IN GREAT WALTHAM ESSEX WHERE MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS A COACHMAN DOMESTIC. THEY LIVED AT CHURCH END LANGLEYS LODGE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO MIGHT KNOW ANY CLIFTS.THE DATE FOR MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS WOULD BE AROUND THE 1900s** FROM MARY BRIDGE
