I was born in Goswick farmhouse in 1946 when my father Jim Wilson was farm steward there. I recently had a chance to visit the house and was shown around by the present occupants. Thank you very much! My father died in 1994 but my mother Vera has many happy memories of the area and I grew up hearing stories of the flood ~ the train crash ~ playing on the sands~ watching the trains at the station and teas at the golf club.

Lovely Web Page Iam from Australia and searching for my ancestors who lived in this area. They are mentioned in the 1841 Census living at Brock Mill Farm.
