Tolvaddon, Cornwall (4.2 miles away)
Hi~ I am doing genealogy on the family of William Wallis (married to Maria Willoughby May 29~ 1819) who had 3 sons: William Willoughby Wallis~ James Willoughby Wallis & Jonathan Wallis. William also had 3 brothers & a sister: John Wallis~ Thomas~ George & Elizabeth. I have found the kin of John but not anything of the others. John & William both immigrated to USA/ Wisconsin in 1835 & after 1841. I have one note that Elizabeth married a man named Mr. Pope. Also I have NO info on the father/mother of these men. I have a note that the Father of these men was named John~ but I don't know if that is true. I have seen the 1841 census## William & Maria+ 3 boys were in Tolvaddon at that time. If anyone has information on this family I would love to hear from you. Thank you very much~ Debra (Wallis) Beck

I am researching a house in Tregullow~ Scorrier~ known as 'Zimapan'~ otherwise known as 'Zimapan House' or 'Zimapan Villa'. **My great gandfather~ Walter Parsons Thomas lived there from 1921-1930 with his wife Angelina. He would have prayed and preached in St Day's Weslyan Chapel. He came from Holyhead~ Wales.**I have some old photographs of the house and gardens that date back to 1928. Then garden had a circular lawn and path~ was decorated with palm plants~ a central bay-window and was well-cared for. Now the place looks abandoned and forlorn and in need of some TLC.**Is there anyone left who can remember this couple~ or who knows anything about this house~ such as who else lived there over the years? [no detail too trivial] If so~ please get in touch with me urgently. ****NB: This research is unpaid.**

#1 Vicarage Road is the last address I have on a Mr. Edwin and Miss Betty Tredinnick. I believe Betty's first name is Elizabeth. They were at our family reunion in Pennsylvania in 1966 in the U.S.A. I woulld like to communicate with them since my ancestries came from the St. Agnes town in the 1800's. Please contact me in America if you have any info. Thank you so much.**** Dennis L. Tredinnick

My Great Great Grandfather Stephen was born in St. Agnes in 1813 He was the son of James and Nancy Tredinnick who lived in the Wheal Butson section of St. Agnes. Stephen married Rebecca Tremayne around 1832. Rebecca was born in 1811.They lived in St. Agnes until 1848 when the mines closed. They then moved to the Mount Charles section of St. Agnes. James was the first son to come to America in the late 1853 or 1854. They settled down in an area around Wilkes-Barre~ Pennsylvania~ U.S.A.** If there is anyone who has any info. or may be family members~ please contact me.
