I think that Hannah Wood(s) was born in Salehurst/Robertsbridge in 1809. She later married William Jenning who was born in Cambridge.Any information about her familly would be welcome since I have got stuck here!

My ancestors~ Thomas and Johanna (Ann) Pewsey are listed in the 1841 Census in the Hawkhurst Parish. The "Place Column" says Knowls. His son David Pewsey is also listed in the Hawkhurst Parish and in the "Place Column" it says Conservative Row. I have a map that lists cottages and farms in this area~ but Knowls and Conservative Row are not there. Does anyone know if they still exist with a different name or where they were located. I am coming to England from the US in June and would like to take pictures of where my ancestors lived. If you have any suggestions~ please contact me.

I worked as a nanny for Mr and Mrs Fielding at Brede Place between June and September 1975~ Their three boys were Miles~ James and Fintan then 6~ 5 and 3 years old.**I often think of them and wonder what they are doing now and does the family still live at Brede Place.**

Hello I am looking to trace Elizabeth (Eliza) Hammond Born in 1813 in Sedlescombe~ Sussex~ England. She married Frederick Button (1809) my Great Great Great Grandad~ who's son Alfred Button (1835) is my Great Great Grandad~ his son William Samuel (1873) is my Great Grandad~ his daugher Ellen Elizabeth Button (1898) is my Grandma.****If anyone has some information I'd be very grateful of it~ Thanks Sue
