I am researching the family of Alfred Nicholas~ born abt. 1841~in St. Just~ Cornwall~ England. I have traced the family here and the road ends in about 1840. Does the local church keep family records~ if so can anyone provide me with contact information.**Respectfully~**Jim Hunt

Hi~ my husband's ancestors came from Grumbla where they were tin miners. James & wfie Fanny (nee Waters) were listed in the 1851 census. They had 9 children and their 2nd child~ John Waters Hosking married Jane Ellis in 1849. They had 2 children before leaving for Australia where they had another 10! Would be very grateful for any information regarding the rest of the family still in England or for any history of the area. Thanks~ Jean.

My name is Dennis L. Tredinnick and I live in America. My family came from **England as tin miners to the Scanton area of Pennsylvania~ U.S.A. I once seen **a book that had a picture of a tin mine with a tall chimney on it. They called **it the Tredinnick Tin Mine just outside of St. Just.
