I am searching for detials of Henry Brewis who is my Gt,Gt,Grandfather born abt 1846 and was married to Alice and had 4 children John William,Mary.Henry.Thomas and lived in the pitt houses in Togston is the street address which i would think no longer exist
he was an Engineman as i have several relative tracing from my mother they all seem to be in this area of togston Embleton Family names go from Sanderson/Willis/Brewis/Embleton/Robson any help would be most appre you can contact me via my Email address

I am trying to track down the parents of George Robert Turnbull who married Sarah Ellen Hume in 1884. George's father is also shown as a George Turnbull~ Farm Steward in the Shilbottle area on their marriage certificate.**Any help with my search would be greatly appreciated.
