I am searching for information about the Fryers and Dent families of Warton. William Fryers married Agnes Dent aroung 1830-maybe at Trinity Church. My problem is that there are two Wartons in Lancs and both have( or had) Trinity church's . I ma planning to travel to UK in September 2009 and would like to contact relations and/or have a look at family sites. Can anyone help?

I am researching my family history. From census and family information I am **aware that 5 generations of my family were born and/or lived in Nether Kellet **between 1800 and 1936. Does the village have any sort of archive or a local **historian who could help me trace family history prior to 1837?So far I **am aware that Robert Woods (born 1800 in Nether Kellet) married Betty Wilkinson **from Ellel. Their son Henry P Woods (born Nether Kellet 1831) married Jane **Reynolds from St Michaels in 1861. Henry's son: James (born in 1864 and later a **preacher in Nether Kellet chapel) married Elizabeth Ann Shaw from Caton in **1889.áMy grandfather James Anthony Woods (born in Carnforth in 1892) married **Lucy Ellen Marguerta Parker from Lancaster in 1920 and they lived in Nether **Kellet until 1936. My father Peter Anthony Woods (b 1921)went to Nether Kellet **school and then to LRGS. Can anybody tell me if Cart Lane Lower Allithwaite is still in there? This is for family history trying to trace the name Wren.
