I am looking for any Howletts from around the Suffollk area.**So far I have found James Howlett (circa 1811) who was married to I think Anna Maria Mayes (b circa 1815 in Stoven~ Suffolk. m Oct 1833) and their children James (1836~ Uggeshall)~ William (1838~ Uggeshall)~ Harriet (1840~ Uggeshall)~ George (1844~ Westhall)~ Robert (1846~ Westhall) and Elijah (1849~ Westhall). **I have a few marriages and children for these kids which I can provide if anyone is interested.**Please contact me if you know anything.

Our family lived in Dunwich from the 1750's - 1960's. We recently came across a family of Dixes living in Uggeshall with children born between 1789 and 1800. Parents were Michael and Elizabeth (nee Freeman). Does anyone know if they were connected to the Dunwich family~ please? Is there any connection between Dunwich and Uggeshall? I noticed some similar windows in the village to those characteristic of Dunwich. Many thanks~ Susan (nee Dix).

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP? I'VE BOUGHT A BORDER COLLIE X SPRINGER PUP FROM A FAMILY IN COMBS FORD.SHE WAS BOUGHT FROM A LADY IN WRENTHAM. (MAYBE A BREEDER).THEY HAVE LOST HER PUPPY PACK AND PAST VACCS/DETAILS. DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS LADY OR ARE YOU THIS PERSON WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THE HISTORY OF 'JESS'. P.S. I am researching my Benns family line. William Benns was a blacksmith who married Susan Lyon in 1816 at Wangford. He had a few children in Wangford and then emigrated to Toronto~ Canada.****Is there anyone who is knowledgeable about Wangford town history in the 1800 - 1840 timeframe?
