Hello~ i am a british Petherick~ as far as i know mt farther John comes from Cornwall as does the rest of the family history. all we I tell you is that little petherick is a village~( we visited every year as we grew up on the way through to see the rest of the family down south) and it is under my understanding that in previous times the village was built to serve the family estate near by~ hence the name little petherick. Any questions feel free to ask as i would love to know more also. any infor on the pethericks welcome!

Hello! My name is Bill Burkitt and I live near Detroit~ Michigan in the U.S. My great-grandfather was born in White Cross in 1870. Beatrice was my maternal grandmother.

Hi there. Greetings from over the pond in New Jersey~ USA. I left a message back in 2004 to contact any Tredinnick in UK. I am very interested in anyone from the Issey area which is close to the Tredinnick Farm and Town just south of Issey. I seen a map showing the area and was told that the Tredeneck's started there back in the 1300's.St Breoke they say. he first Lord of Tredeneck in County Cornwall was Edward Tredeneck who had his arms which contained three bucks heads with their antlers showing on each side of the head. The crest of the family is a deer head facing the front. The motto is:"Fides non timett" which means Faith fears not.** Their was also a brass memorial to Charles Tredeneck who died in 1578 showing him and his wife and many children in Elizabethan costume. Charles was High Sheriff of Cornwall in the reign of Henry VIII.** If there is anyone who can help me please~ I repeat please contact me. ** A Tredinnick through and through~** Dennis Lee Tredinnick** dentred@earthlink.net**Thank You.........

Hi I'm one of many Tredinnick's here in America. My families roots go back to Cornwall~ St. Agnes area around 1850. My Great Great Grandfather James~ the oldest son of Stephen and Rebecca (Tremayne) came to America around 1854 after the tin mines closed. If there are any Tredinnick's who would like to email me I would greatly appreciate hearing from them. I have not yet visited your Beautiful country~but plan to in the very near future. My email address is: dentred@earthlink.net**** Sincerely yours~** Dennis Lee Tredinnick

Carloggas, Cornwall (2.7 miles away)
Does anyone know of the Carloggas Country House Hotel (which I stayed at 30 years ago). Is it now Carloggas Farmhouse which is currently for sale? The farmhouse is now surrounded by houses which the hotel was not (30 years ago) but the location seems familiar. Of course~ the memory plays tricks so I might have been in the wrong place altogether. Any help/history would be very much appreciated.
