In 1891 there were 2 cottages nr the farm in Chattenden Ln. Would love to hear from anyone who has a photo of the cottages? The 'James' family - retired Sgt-Maj William James from RE~ his wife Charlotte and 3 children: Edwin~ Frederic Stuart and Jane lived there at the time before moving to Battersea.

Can anyone assist me please? I've traced my family **" Piper " back to Hoo 1881 - 1841.One of my relatives Elias Samuel Piper c1852 lived in Hoo at 140 Hoo Street~ I also believe 187 Pell Lane Nr The Moor & 22 Hoo Mill.****If anyone knows of the family or has done any research~ grave stones etc please contact me.****Thank you.
