trying to find any info on one of my long gone uncles~ ie Wilfred Cole~born 1893~ only info at this time is that in the census for 1901 he was 7yrs old a " Boarder " at " The Village " Fleetwood. ( and born in Syldesley~Lancs).**was " The village " a charity house/ welfare house etc. any info about him~ or " The village" would be most welcome .**Thank You

My great~ great~ great grandfather was Joseph Hodskinson born in 1798 and he was a farmer in Elswick where all his children were born. His son Bartholemew (born in 1832) took the farm over from him and then passed it onto his son Robert (born in 1861). Any information about my family would be greatly appreciated.

I went to Baines Endowed School in Thornton from 1966 to 1968 and lived in Ascot Road. Don't suppose ANYONE will remember me as we moved away from the area then. Three names I remember from Thornton are Kathryn Mercer~ Isabel Robertson and Sheila Yarwood.

Hello. I have searched my family name TODD to Christopher Todd~ 1637 West Riding Yorkshire. He left England on a ship called The Hector and landed in New Haven~ Connecticut. mygreat great greatgrandma Fanny Atkinson married a Richard Houghton in 1839 in Preston lancs ~ Her Father was a William Atkinson a farmer and the census tells us that she was born in Medlar lancs~She was a servant at the time of her marraige so are there any family members of the Atkinson family still around Medlar~
