Eliza Carder married a William Adams c 1845 and she lived at the above places 1854 to 1881. Love UK Villages.****Have a query about Fairseat~ can anyone tell me if there was a large walnut tree opposite a row of 3 cottages? I have a postcard showing this picture (about 1910) but am aware there is a Fairseat in Norfolk as well. Is it the Essex Fairseat or not? I AM TRYING TO TRACE MY FAMILY. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER CAME FROM BOCKING THEY HAD 9 CHILDREN ALL WERE BORN IN BOCKING. THEIR NAMES WERE EMILY AND JAMES CLIFT.THE ONLY INFORMATION I HAVE ABOUT THEM IS THAT THEY LIVED IN GREAT WALTHAM ESSEX WHERE MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS A COACHMAN DOMESTIC. THEY LIVED AT CHURCH END LANGLEYS LODGE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO MIGHT KNOW ANY CLIFTS.THE DATE FOR MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS WOULD BE AROUND THE 1900s** FROM MARY BRIDGE
