Just looking for any descendants of the Grundrill Family. The family orginated from Weston in Hertfordshire and Charles Grundrill who was born in 1861 moved to Yorkshire where he married Mary Deamer and settled. We are looking for any members who are still in the Stevenage area. My father-in-law Albert was born in 1927 and he had a brother William. There father died in 1931.

Hayward / Haywood - Eric John. Eric was born in December 1924 and his mailing address in the 1940's was 1 Tower Road Hitchin~ Herdfordshire. Eric served on the HMS Formidable during WW2 and whilst in Sydney met Mum. Mum thought that something had happened to him when he didnt answer her letters and she then met and married our Dad. **Mum~ now 82~ has apparently started to wonder what happened to Eric so I thought I would give it a go.**Does anyone know of Eric or any family that may have lived at that address and if so~ could you let me know please.**Thank you**

Eric John Hayward (or Haywood) was a pilot on the HMS Formidable when it visited Sydney Australia towards the end of WW2. His mailing address at the time was 1 Tower Road~ Hitchin~ Hertfordshire. My mum - now 82 - has mentioned him and has wondered what became of him.**I have only just started trying to track him down but would appreciate it if anyone had any information on him or any possible family**Thanks**

I have been searching for an old friend for the last several years with no success. He was my best man at my wedding and we were college pals. His name is Dennis Woods and he had a wife Doreen (who has since passed away unfortunately) He has a son~ daughter (Lorraine) and granddaughter~ (Louise) and the last address I have which was in 1995 was on Eastholm~ Letchworth Herts. My great grandfather Arthur Martin and some of his siblings were born in Whitwell in 1840's and 1850's. Their parents and older children had moved from London around 1840 and the family moved back to London in 1860's. My information is that Arthur's father James Martin was a Congregational minister. Can any one confirm that he was the local non-conformist minister for the Whitwell area~ please or have any information about the family ?

trying to trace my late father.s family~ who lived and worked in the area ~ my dad said they worked at the big house~ i heard the term parish house for their lodgings .**this was either side of 1900- 1935 i think .**dad has just passed recently so i have time to make up for and find out where he came from .

Im trying to locate a woman by the name of Tracy who is now in her 40's who lived in Ashwell Common Graveley.**Unfortunately I have no surname but Tracy at that time was on CB Radio and I think was under the name Lady Mallard Tracy had a younger brother and her father played Cricket for the local Club. Unfortunately this was around 1978 / 1979 so it is quite hard to locate information regarding her. Im workin from a picture of her and my memory.I would just like to find out how she is and catch up on life. It has been a very long time and maybe Tracy has forgotten me but at least I would know that I have tried everything possible to find her.
