Trying to find out more information on the Mayo's that lived in Blewbury from around 1750 that moved to East Hendred in about 1800. Like to know where they were from before Blewbury. Could possibly have come from Faringdon but cannot prove it.

Hi I am looking for any information on the Griffin family. I have John Griffin resident in Marcham~ Berkshire on the 1851 Census~ He was born around 1809 in Marcham~ parents John and Leah Griffin and was married to Mary. They had a son called Albert born Marcham 1850 and married Elizabeth~they were my great grandparents.

I live in York and am 75 and a widower. I am compiling a family history. My grandfather Herbert Legge (Legg)was born in Culham in 1866 and my great grandfather William Legge (Legg)was born in Garford in 1830. The family lived in Nuneham Courtney some years later.I am staying in the area from the 13th July for 3 days and will be visiting the villages and would like to find the streets and houses where they lived and take photos.
