My father~ Maurice James was born in Wilmington in 1925~ his grandmother~ Julia Ann Unknown was also born somewhere in Kent~ i am hoping that someone will remember her and her husband Jeremiah Hayden~ or any of their children Tom~ Jack~ Annie~ Edward and Edmund (twins~ one died in infancy) Joseph~ Linda~ b.1905 (my granny)~ Albert~ James~ George~ Maurice~ Charles~ Lilian. I believe that Lilian was not Jeremiah's child but i could be wrong. **

Hi folks~ with regards to my earlier post requesting a digital photograph of the tomb-stones of George Keeley Monkhouse and his brother Major Monkhouse both buried in the Stone Cemetery near Dartford. I have been advised by a local resident that there are no markers or tomb-stones to either of these graves. However~ I would still be very keen to hear from any family members or relatives of the two above mentioned people . I collect war medals to the surname Monkhouse and have in my collection the WW1 British War Medal to George Keeley Monkhouse. Kind Regards~ Andrew Monkhouse

I am researching the Pearson Family. Arthur Leigh Weston Pearson~ his wife Mary Agnes(nee) Lineham and son James A~ lived at 38 Longlands Park road~ Sidcup in 1934. He died at St Laurences Church Sidcup in 1934. I am trying to trace what happened to his wife and son after his death and in particular what happened to James A Pearson. Did he marry~ have children etc.~

went to westhill primary. i remember fatty parsons. she used to rap your hand with half a doz rulers. with her eyes closed.of course some of the lads used to pull faces. also remember the headmaster. Mr Lintel. thought he was a nice headmaster. . went up to the west central. left there the christmas of 1950. anyone who remembers me drop us aline. i now live in Perth west Australia. what a great Dartford site. anyway i'm George. originally from Dartford. was born in south st. all knocked down now around 56. now phoenix place. heath st. left school . 1950. worked down the london papers mills. just marking time for a year or so.. till i was old enough to go away to sea. got there when i was 17. did 8 wonderful years at sea. got married to Pam Day. (now deceased ) worked in the london royal docks for a couple of years as a rigger. did 10 years at Ford motor Co. then finally immigrated to Perth west oz. so now in my twilight years you might say. i'd love to contact an old friend from the fifties. i am Joseph portelli and i live in malta. back in 1977 i was a patient in the royal hospital in london where i met a lady who happened to be a patient in the same hospital. her name is Mrs.Agnes Buglass and used to live at Yellow house~ Furness School. she used to teach in this school. Today she should be around 68 years old. Since then i lost track of her whereabouts. Can someone please give me some information

I am trying to find some information about a childrens home that was in **Hextable. I have an uncle who was placed there between 1930 - 1936~ **he is now in his eighties and is suffering from cancer and is trying to find **out more about the home. He rembers thta it was mainly if not soley for **children from naval families.
