I am trying to track down the parents of George Robert Turnbull who married Sarah Ellen Hume in 1884. George's father is also shown as a George Turnbull~ Farm Steward in the Shilbottle area on their marriage certificate.**Any help with my search would be greatly appreciated.

Any information relating to John Gill(aged 47)~ and family shown in 1881 census as farming 120 acres at West Thirston? He had wife Margaret (38)~ and two children Elizabeth 11years~ and Mary 8years. Later there was a son Robert born 1885/6. Neither John~ nor wife Margaret~ appear on 1891 census. Any informationon their ?deaths between 1885 and 1891? Or their marriage probably 1868/9. Are Parish Registers still available for viewing -preferably on line?

Greetings. I have been looking for Sabina Mitwich (my great grandaunt) and her husband John Corcoran. They and their children lived in Felton~ Northumberland during the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries. John was a schoolmaster in Felton Village. He and his wife died there and are buried nearby. I would love to touch base with any of John and Sabina's descendants. Thank you.

• Dear Anne, Absolutely delighted to see your comments. Sabina Miwich was my great grandmother. Her daughter (my grandmother) was Henrietta White(nee Corcoran) and my grandmother's brother was Cannon Corcoran. Henrietta married Thomas White and my mother Mary White married my father Michael Egan and went to Australia in 1950. I have 4 siblings. Would really like to get in touch with you as I am very interested in Sabina and would love to know more about her. I understand she was born in Wiesbaden in Germany and that her father was a Professor of music! I hope this reaches you and that we can correspond, Thank you, Anne Walsh
