On my Mothers side I have William Poulton and Elizabeth Rasbass that were born early 1800's and moved to USA Western area~ cir. 1860. If there is any one that has a connection to either of these two (2) families it would be grand to hear from you. Thanks~ Steve

My grandfather came to the United States in 1869 at the age of two with his parents a brother and two sisters His name was Ernest John Daniel Danks. His father was John Danks and his mother was the former Caroline Hickman. His mother and her mother and maybe some sisters owned the High Oak Inn in Pensnett.** John Danks worked in iron at the then Rosedale Rolling Mill in Kansas City~ Kansas~ USA. Ernest Danks later went to California. My mother Lucile Danks lived in Los Angeles where I was born. I now am retired and live in Santa Rosa California 60 miles north of San Francisco. Maybe someone in Pensnett is distantly related to one of the above.

I am tracing my family history and have several references to people from Tuckhill~ Alveley and Enville~ e.g. Daniel Hartley~ James Hartley (more than one James?)~ David Hartley~ Eli Hartley~ Elijah Hartley (all from around 1850-1880)~ but am struggling to make concrete connections between them (and with me). I would be grateful for any information that might help me put together these pieces of information.

BODENHAM surname. I am researching the BODENHAM surname. Other spellings of the name may be BODMAN or BODMIN. I am particularly interested in the family **of a Thomas BODENHAM/BODMAN/BODMIN and his wife Elizabeth. This family was living in the Bobbington~ Six Ashes area about 1817-1830. Thomas and his wife had Benjamin chr. 28 Jan 1821~ and Elizabeth chr. 21 Aug 1826~ Harriot chr. 8 Mar 1829. Another (the same?) Thomas BODENHAM aged 64 and wife Mary A. aged 63 in the 1881 census for Stafford are of interest to me. He was born in **Bobbington. She was born in Tansy Green.
