Gail Crane

I am writing from Philadelphia PA, USA, and trying to find whatever information that I can access about my direct ancestor, Jasper Crane, who was born in 1602 in Welwyn. We are told he was the son of Sir William Crane. He emigrated to the Connecticut Colony around 1635. The name we have for his wife is Alice (?)Leads. I would very much appreciate links or guidance that will help my family. He was one of the founding fathers of the Connecticut Colony. Thank you.

Peter Saunders
Bayford, Hertfordshire (4.6 miles away)
My Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather Alexander Saunders was married in Berkhampstead to Ann Umerson in February 1804. and then moved to Bayford where they had 9 children. On the 1851 census Alexander had a cousin living with him which suggests that his father (Thomas) had children and of course it is possible that Alexander had siblings. If anyone know anything of this family living in Bayford in the 17th & 18th century I would be grateful if they left a message on this forum.
Peter.

Otto Herman Reinke lived in Hatfield until his death in 1975. With him lived his daughter Diane Penelope Reinke born in 1943. They were living at 19 Furzen Crescent~ Hatfield.**Looking at the marriage index it looks like she married Denis J. Hill in 1980.**It looks like Diane had a sister named Denise Reinke Bagg.**I'm hoping to contact one of these women to ask genealogy questions about the Reinke family-I'm not a nut! **Could someone give me an email address for Otto's daughters? Or a contact address? I live in Canada.**Thank you very much~**Mary

I'm trying to trace my family ancestry. I am a descendant of James Carr Veale who~ we think~ came from England in the 1700's with 2 brothers. James~ Carr~ William~ and Waitis are common names in my family line. Our family settled in Indiana and my branch settled in Southern California.

I spent many happy holidays in Essendon visiting my grandmother Margaret Maile(whose maiden name was Cannon)## she used to live at Dimsdale Cottages on the High Road. She had lots of relatives in and around Essendon and I would love to find some of them as I have lost contact with them all. My great aunt~ Winifred Cannon~ lived in Glebe Close and one of my mother's cousins lived in Flint Cottage on the hill.Another of my great aunts lived in the old school house. If anybody knows anything about them I would be thriled to hear from them.**Anne Hooper.
