Looking for the Turner family who lived in Old Buckenham~ my great-great grandfather was Horace Turner~ he was a baker by trade~ and came to Australia before 1867. Can't find how he got here~ I don't think he was a long distance swimmer!!! His father was Osborn Spink Turner and his mother was Emma Quantrill.**Horace was born in 1849 and his parents died when he was young and he was living in the Union Workhouse at Kenninghall in the 1851 census.

I am looking for any information in reference to my ancestors who lived in Banham in the 1800's. I know Henry Lambert was born in Banham in 1801~ married an Eliza and had 3 children. They lived in North Bite and Great Green. I would be grateful for any old maps of the area or photographs.

The Palgrave Society was founded in 1973 to bring together historians with an interest in families bearing the surname Palgrave and its variants. The Society publishes a quarterly magazine with details of its members' research. It has also published a more substantial hardback book surveying Palgrave research work undertaken prior to 1978. REYNOLDS OR DOWNES / DOWNS Looking for any family history on these family names. Just visited Bunwell Hill my mum who is 88 and very frail does not remember much so I am searching for family history. I am the daughter of Charles and Irene Reynolds and his father my granddad was Jackie or Jaquie and Emma Reynolds they had 6 children that lived but I was told there are a couple of deaths right after birth. He was my gr gr gr great grandfather~ he was born around 1805 and married Elizabeth? on the 22 December 1829~ they had nine children 1.William 2.Emma 3.Edward 4.
