I am researching William Brown~ born 8 Sept 1858 in Clenchwarton. I am in the States but will be in that area mid July 2009. I know he immigrated to the US in 1885~ but little else is known. Ideas on how to find his family in England would be appreciated.

So now that I found it~ I would like to ask some questions about my line of Hubbards who were originally from West Walton but brandched out to Walpole St. Andrew and Walpole St. Peter and then to Terrington St. John. Any info on Arch farm cottages Stow Road Mgdalen?**They were originally one large house turned into three dwellings for farm workers many years ago.**Do you know the name of the gentleman that lived in the house that saved the life of a farm youth from the press gangs that came down the Ouse?**Also~ any info on K/Lynn Mayor John Bennett 1610-who was he and wheredid he live etc?

My family lived in watlington. My grandparents were George and Violet featherby who lived at raymabelle~ Rectory Lane. i believe the Featherby's lived previously at Fen Row as did the Chilvers who were my great grandparents. John Chilvers owned the boiler that exploded in 1867. he was a publican - running the Queen's Head. I woould love to hear from anybody who has nay knowledge of these people. thank you.

my aunt in america has been researching our family tree and has traced my great~ great~ great~ great grandparents back to Watlington~ we believe they lived in fen row cottages and their name was Harwin~ some of them (we believe) are buried in the local church. our grandmother x 4 ended up in the east end of of london where she died in the west ham workhouse.

My Gr.Gr.Grandparents lived all their married lives in Magdalen between 1834 and 1901 and brought up a large family there.They are described as agricultural labourers in the censuses.Their names were William HOLMES and Sarah CULLEN. I have an unidentified photo. which I think might be of them taken around 1880. They are outside a cottage called DRIFT COTTAGE.Is there~or was there a cottage of that name in Magdalen.I would love to hear from any one who could help me. I would also love to hear from any HOLMES or CULLEN who still live in the area.

Hello I am looking for any details concerning Bob Seacombe or his wife Brenda~ **Mr Seacombe would be in he 70s by now.**He lived in building in Terrington St Clement that used to be the village post **office## Bob ran an aquarists and then an osteopaths from the building.****My father believes Bob was originally from Sutton and worked for Boots in a **technical capacity at one time.****My father is happily retired now and would love to hear any news of Bob or **Brenda.****We would be grateful to hear from anyone who may be able to help us in anyway
