My great great grandfather Richard Allen emigrated from Sticker in 1840 to South Australia. His father (also Richard Allen )was a farmer in Sticker. I am seeking any information on the Allen family and their descendants who may be still living in Sticker or nearby towns. Also whether any other members of the family emigrated to Australia or the USA.

Hello~****Does anyone know about the holy well in St Mewan? I have visited a number of these sites thoughout Cornwall and have found them interesting. There is a holy well in St Mewan~ which was known in the middle ages to have 'special healing powers'. I have recently visited St Mewan~ but could not locate it. Does anyone know about this well and it's location? If so~ please contact me~ I would be interested in visiting it.****Regards~****David.
