hi there im looking for margaret june allen we think she was born around 1942- 1943 her mother is margaret allen and her father we think is frederick we believe that has passed away in the 1990's sometime she is my fathers bilogical mum his name is michael denis clarke dob 03-12-1958 his name before was philip allen and he may possibly be a twin he was left at lime hospital in harthill newcastle shortly after he was born. we know margaret lived on victoria street basford stoke on trent with her parents. we do believe she is still in the stoke on trent area but may have married now so unsure of her surname now if anyone has any information at all please please contact me my dad has been looking for years and has allways come to a dead end. thanks nichola

Janet went to the nursery where I was doing my training in 1983/4 within the grounds of the high school and I found that we were related, she missed out on being a bridesmaid at my wedding in 1984 but was a candle bearer at my daughter christening in 1985. I was born in Hanley in May 1953 and although we moved away (initially to Derbyshire) in 1957/8 we continued to vist my Grandmother~ Uncles and Aunts for many years. I beleive the main address was in Wood Street but the roads / houses have changed so much over the years~ i cannot seem to locate the place now.**Aunts~ Uncles were in Longton (near to the park) and various other places.**Lost contact with them all now and would like to re-estblish contact with any surviving relatives (especially cousins). I recall cousins of the names Sam~ Ron and Alan Mellor (there may be more).**My father was Thomas William Mellor (now deceased) who's brothers and sisters were: Sam~ Albert ('Nip')~ Edith~ Clarry Clarence)~ and another lady who moved to Scarborough.**If anyone recognises any of these names~ please contact me.**(pythonatm@aol.com) as I would love to here from you.

Hi i am searching for any information about my Mothers Family whose name was Malpas and who originally had a farm called Hillcrest in Oulton ~ my Grandfather had the Brushmakers Arms and my Mother was born there~ my Grandfathers Sisters lived at Abbey Cottage and their Parents are buried in St Johns Grave yard where there is a memorial dedicated to my Grandfathers younger Brother George Malpas who did not return from the 1st World War(in the Church i think)my Mothers Cousin Barbara married Bill Trout and they lived at Rough Close they had a Daughter named Rosamund ~ i have a photo of her as a Baby with my Brother and one of her Father ~ i also have photos of my Great Grandmother and Grandads Sisters in front of the Farm House Hillcrest any info anyone? i am totally fascinated with their History and always have been Grandads Brother William managed an estate called Fradswell Hall and i believe his Family once lived in Airdale Road Stone thankyou Vivien

Hi i am interested in any information about the Malpas Family who lived in Oulton Staffordshire near Stone. The Malpas Family had a Farm called Hill Crest and my Mother was born at the BrushMakers Arms when my Grandad had it~ my Grandads Sister lived in Abbey Cottage and i have happy memories of visits to Oulton when i was a child~ i returned with my Sister and my late Husband sat in the Pub and relived those memories and remembered how much my Mother loved this place and was so proud of her Family ~ i would love to hear from anyone who has any information or a story to tell ~ thanks Vivien.
