I'm trying to locate my grandmother who was born in Turriff in 1886. Her name is Lizzie Cassills (or Elizabeth). OR~ she was born in 1892.

I am searching for information reguarding James King b.1725 in Darra~ Aberdeenshire. I believe he was christened in Monquhitter parrish and his father was also James. I believe he is the same James King who was one of the 45 (with the Duke of Perth) who was transported to Oxford~ MD in 47 on the Johnson. I believe he is the father of my ancestor Charles King b.1750 in Hanover~ VA.

According to old letters relating to the MURISON family of Gamrie~ my 5Great-Uncle Peter Murison bought the Delgaty Estate in late 1762 or early 1763 for 21~000 Pounds. Is there any record of this transaction still extant? Of what did the Estate of Delgaty comprise? It is believed he was working for Francis Garden at the time. Previously~ he had worked for Lord Prestongrange.****
