I am looking for books~drawings and paintings done by grandfather WILLIAM **WASHINGTON THOMPSON.**After my grandfathers death in the mid 1950's~ my grandmother **re-married a man by the name of Jo(seph?) Blueitt or Fluitt and moved to **Glanconway. My grandmother died in the late 60's- **early 70's and I am unsure of what happened to Mr. B/Fluitt.**My grandfather was a keen ameture painter and had a particular interest in **dogs and the Lake District. I would very much like to find anything of my **grandfathers that still exists. My mother now in her late 70's~ often **talks about the pictures she saw him paint when she was a child and I would **love to find just one of the pictures for her.**The pictures are no great works of art by any stretch of the imagination~ **and I doubt that they were ever framed or mounted~ but they are important to my **mother~ and therefore I would like to try and obtain one/some for her.** would love to hear from anyone who has anything signed by W.W.Thompson or **William W. Thompson or who knows anything about the B/Fluitt family living in **Glanconway. I am willing to pay a reasonable sum for anything **available.**
