I am tracing my mothers ancestry and I am aware of family in Saltash and Bere Alston. My family were~ in the main~ miners who eventually moved to the North East of England to sink coal mine shafts. I believe that there may have been family members working at Morwellham. Any information would be appreciated.

I am trying to trace a Mrs Lorna Pearce's family. She used to live at 6 Bedford Villas Bere Alston during the time of the first world war. I have found letters both to and from her in relation to my Grandfathers brother Henry Charles Brighton when he was reported missing/killed in action in France. Lorna's maiden name was also Brighton but I can find no record of her.**Thank you **Lorraine Brighton Australia

I am trying to find some information regarding the site of the North Cornwall **Creameries which operated in the Kelly Bray area back in the 1930's**It was owned and run by the Daw family until the great recession when it **unfortunately went into liquidation. I have two old photographs of the exterior **and interior of the factory which might help to jog memories. If you can **remember the exact site of the factory and can tell me where it was or maybe **even still is (unlikely though) I would be very grateful.****Ellis B. Daw

William Moyle
Kelly Bray, Cornwall (4.3 miles away)
My great grandfather~ John Moyle~ lived at Higher Downgate in the period **1890-1929. He died in 1929 and is buried in Kelly Bray Chapel graveyard. I **know that the chapel has been demolished but I do not have a photo of the **building and would like to know where I can get one to add to my family tree **collection. His son Fritz Moyle (died 1947) is also buried there. Two other **sons (Ernest and Sydney) emigrated to USA in the early years of the 20th **century and his daughter Alice Minnie (married James Lionel Taylor) lived at **Looe for many years. Any info re this family would also be very much **appreciated.
