I am a descendant of a John Whittlesey who was born in Cambridgeshire in 1623. I believe it is possible that he was born in Colne~ or very close to Colne. He migrated to America about 1650. All of the Whittlesey marriages that took place in the 1670's were of people from Colne. Also~ a John Whittlesey (possibly the father or grandfather of the John Whittlesey who immigrated) of Colne had a will probated in 1676. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate being contacted. Thank you in advance.

Lived in Wellington House until I was 8. Trying to find a photograph of it for sentimental reasons. Grandfather George Bunnage~ then father~ Gerald Bunnage farmed there.
