I am researching the ancestry of my late mother Eleanor (nee Kingaby). She was born in Pewsey in 1922. I am led to understand that the family then moved to Wareham.**The abundance of Kingabys in old census rolls make me wonder if some of her side of the family are still to be found locally. I would appreciate any information.

Hello from Australia. **Im researching a family history for my mothers 95th birthday. A cousin has just found a photo of my Aunt~ Millie~ living in Wool during the late 1960s at least. Millie was married to a motorbike riding policeman called Bert who was stationed there. They had a son Barry who was a baker who is thought to have married and moved to Poole. They had another son Tony who joined the navy but was then killed in a motorbike smash. **The problem is that no one can remember Berts surname. Millies maiden name was Staples. I am hoping that someone can remember the family and help me with the familys last name~ and perhaps some details about them~ and of course if the location of any descendents is known I would be glad to receive such information.

My great-grandfather Frederick Cyril Kent was born in Wareham in 1895. The next record I can find is of his marriage here in Canada in 1917. If anyone knows any more of this gentleman and/or the family history please contact me. I understand that the family may have been well known in the area at the time. I also understand that he went to a school known as Winchester Trafalgar House School in 1907. Does this school still exist?Thank you!

I am building my Family tree and one of me female ancestors worked as a Ladys Maid for the wife of John Wm. Townsend who was a magistrate in living in a village called HEFFLELON in Dorset. I cannot find any reference to this village or town anywhere can anyone help please
