Runnington, Somerset (1.4 miles away)
Can anyone help me?
I'm researching the Bond/Hartnell family trees; they lived in Langton Budville and Runnington.
Samuel Bond married Dinah Hartnell and, at the time of the 1871 census, they were living in Cutty Wren's Nest, Runnington.
Can anyone tell me whether the Cutty Wren's Nest cottages still exist.... and where the name originated?
If anyone knows (or is related to the Bond and Hartnell families), it would be a bonus.
Thanks.
Hilary

Greetings~****I am researching Richards family history in the Pitminster area dating in the 1500s and 1600s onward. I am finding information on two William Richards who appear to be father and son dating from a 1524 birth of the first William Richards to a 1601 death of the second William Richards in the Somerset region. The second William appears to have had a son John Richards born around 1550 in Somerset region. ****Any details and suggestions on researching Richards lineage in the region would be greatly appreciated. I am visiting the area soon and hope to be able to visit local churches and information repositories that might be of help.

I have Richards in my family tree - some are from Pitminster but I can only go back as far as census records as I live in France. Do you know of anyone who has put a Richards Tree Online? Thank you

I'm descended from Nicholas Gaylord (Gaillard) (1500-46). Would anyone happen to have more information about him? I'm not sure of his wife's name~ but he had a son (1525-abt.51) named after him~ married to Johanne Brixton (Newman) (1529-72).

I Will be travelling to Milverton as part of a family history tour and would be interested in seeing the house my Great Grandparents lived in. I think it was across from St. Michael's Church.
