Reasby, Lincolnshire (3.5 miles away)
Giles Butcher died in 1614. He left a widow, Elizabeth, and children Thomas, Roger, John, Jane, Elizabeth & Mary. Thomas seems to have been away from home, and the others were under 21. Also receiving legacies were Roger, William, Elizabeth, Alice, Jane & Margaret Cooper. Supervisors of the Will were William Smythe & Thomas Dodd of Medlam. Executors were Robert Salter, Hugh Hubbard Henry fforce William Hubbard.
He seems to have quite a prosperous man.
Any information would be welcome.

I am trying to complete my family tree and have reached the 1840s and I have a GGG Grandfather called James Surfleet and a GG Grandmother called Mary, whose father was a miller in Ingham. Does anyone have any information for me about this side of my family. I would be grateful for any information. S Davies

I am looking for information regarding the death of William Curtis . He died in South Carlton~ Lincolnshire on 10th November 1909. He was an Agricutural Labourer formerly gamekeeper and died of Accidental poisoning by strychnine. There was an inquest held on 11th December 1909 and the death was registered on 14 December 1909.**I now want to find out where he was working and if I can find out what happened at the inquest as to how he was poisoned. **Can anyone advise as to local papers about around that time that will have recorded the inquest?**
